Mr. Abdel-Malik Mezher joined ABG in November 2019 and has 21 years of experience in Compliance, AML/CTF, Operational Risk, Corporate Governance, and Board Secretariat functions in the banking and asset management sectors. Before joining ABG, he worked for Alistithmar Capital, a subsidiary of the Saudi Investment Bank, as Head of Corporate Governance, Board Secretariat, and Affairs. Mr. Abdel-Malik Mezher serves on the Boards of ABG’s subsidiaries in Bahrain, Pakistan, Sudan, and Syria.

Mr. Mezher holds a BA in Accounting from the University of Jordan alongside several professional certifications in Compliance, AML/CTF, and Governance. He also holds the International Corporate Governance Certificate (ICGC), the Governance, Risk, and Compliance Professional (GRCP) certification, and the Certified Shari’a Advisor & Auditor (CSAA) designation.
