Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Omer Taha holds a PhD. in Economics and has over 31 years of extensive banking experience, during which he has held various executive, leadership, and advisory roles. He began his career at Al-Tadamon Islamic Bank, then moved to the Industrial Development Bank during its establishment phase, before being recruited to work at Al-Baraka Bank Sudan in 2009 as Head of Risk Management. He steadily progressed through the ranks until he was promoted in 2017 to Assistant General Manager, where he served as Assistant General Manager for Support, then Assistant General Manager for Branches, and finally Assistant General Manager for the Business Sector.

Furthermore, he contributed as part of the Al-Baraka Banking Group team in Bahrain to the establishment of BTI Bank in the Kingdom of Morocco in 2017.
